With only one year experience lorence Olshansky transfored San Rafael defense. Lorence became the anchor of the Dline reporting 32 tackles 7TFL 4 sacks and 14 hurries. Ranking him top in his division. Helping propel San rafael to the best record they had in 20 years. Lorence is the actual example of a person who has been trained by Igor Olshansky since childhood and with minimal football experience became the best player on his team. This type of performance only comes with elite professional training and he is just getting started.

Before my senior year of football at Marin Catholic, I was an okay player but never really a standout. That all changed when I got the chance to be coached by Igor for the defensive end position. Igor brought an incredible depth of knowledge from his own NFL experience, the kind of insights you just don’t get from the average coach. Thanks to Igor’s training, that season I set a new sack record, earned several defensive awards, and helped lead our team to a division championship. That breakout year even opened the door for me to play at the collegiate level, something I had not imagined before. In short, whatever you invest in Igors coaching, you will get back many times over in skills, opportunities, and a real chance to excel whether in high school, college, or even beyond.

When I moved from Australia to attend Marin Catholic in pursuit of a college football scholarship, I had never played a down of American football—my background was entirely rugby and AFL. From day one, Igor Olshansky became not only my defensive line coach but also a pivotal mentor in my development. Coach Igor taught me the essentials of the defensive end position as well as advanced techniques that rarely come from anyone without NFL experience. His guidance gave me a distinct advantage—whether it was mastering pass-rush moves, understanding run-fit responsibilities, or learning how to diagnose and react to offensive schemes in real time. His impact extended far beyond the field. Igor’s mentorship, discipline, and support played a major role in shaping my confidence, work ethic, and overall growth as both an athlete and a person. Because of his coaching and guidance, I progressed faster than I ever imagined possible, ultimately earning 12 Division I scholarship offers and committing to play for the Colorado Buffaloes. I truly would not have reached that level of college football without Igor’s influence on my journey.

Coach Igor has been helping me since junior year of high school, always being truthful and never sugarcoating me. Telling me when I sucked and when I did great, always appreciated him being there and supporting me. Being a great coach, and a friend to my father/mother.
